Fiji TV to Broadcast 2019 IWF Junior World Championship

Fiji Television Limited today announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with 2019 IWF junior World Championship Organizing Committee to broadcast 2019 IWF Junior World Championship on it’s Free to air channel [Fiji One] and via 1
its Streaming Channel.

The event is shaping up to be the largest ever Junior World Weightlifting Championship in the history of the sport in Fiji as 64 countries have submitted their preliminary entries already. Europe currently has the largest continental representation of 28 countries followed by 11
from the Americas and 10 from Asia. Leading Weightlifting Countries like Russia, China, Iran and USA are just a few countries which have confirmed their participation.

The 2019 [WP junior World Championships is also a Gold qualifying event for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. and the Organizing Committee is pleased to see that leading countries are fully participating in this Championships.

Fiji TV Chief Executive Officer, Karen Lobendahn said today that Fiji TV is honored to be granted exclusive rights to the 2019 IWF Junior World Weightlifting Championship. its an Olympic qualifying event our viewers will get to see some of the World’s Best lifters participate LIVE on our platform and we believe that this is another milestone for us as we continue to bring compelling and relevant content to our viewers and advertisers.

The 2019 IWF Junior World Championships will be held in Suva from 1st to 8th June 2019. The 3 day meet will be LIVE and exclusive on Fiji One and will also be LIVE streamed worldwide through the Fiji only Streaming Channel.
